What gets collected

Three things, and nothing else.

  • The consultation form: your name, company, role, email, phone, team size, timeframe, and what you wrote about your sales problem.
  • The chat: the messages you send, and your name and email if you give them.
  • Server logs: your IP address and the pages you requested, used to stop spam and to see whether the site is working.

What is not collected

There is no analytics on this site. No Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no session recording, no third party chat service, no data sold or shared with anyone. Videos are hosted here rather than embedded, so watching one does not tell a video platform anything about you.

The fonts are served from this site rather than from Google, so loading a page here contacts nobody but us. This site makes no third party request of any kind.

Cookies and local storage

There is no advertising or tracking cookie here. The chat widget stores a random token in your browser so that reopening the page resumes the same conversation, and a short list of the pages you visited on this site, which is attached to your chat so Cane can see what you were reading when you wrote in. Clearing your browser storage deletes both.

One cookie is set for staff signing in to the private console. It is marked HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, and it holds nothing but a session identifier.

Where it is kept and for how long

Form submissions and chat transcripts are stored in a database on this site's own server, and copies may be sent to Cane by email. Consultation requests are kept for three years. Chat transcripts are kept for one year. Server logs are kept for thirty days. [[NEEDS: confirm hosting provider and location once deployed]]

Cane Jackson. That is the whole list. If that ever changes, this page changes first.

Getting your data deleted

Email Canejackpolo@gmail.com and ask. Include the reference number from your confirmation if you have it. Deletion happens within thirty days and you get a note confirming it.

Children

This is a business to business site. Nothing here is directed at anyone under 18.
